  Great Sphinx

  Once you arrive at Cairo airport and pick your luggage go outside through the exit door Where you will find your expert guide waiting for you outside the arrival hall holding a sign with your name for a truly memorable tour of the city’s most famous highlights. Start by a tour of the Pyramids of Giza. The structure that dominates the site of the Great Pyramid, or Khufu’s Pyramid, one of the Wonders of the Ancient World.   Continue to the Great Sphinx, the oldest monumental statue in the world, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates from the time of Chephren, then visit the Valley Temple, a mortuary temple carved from massive blocks of pink Aswan granite, with smooth, alabaster floors.

  Stop for lunch break at a local restaurant (drinks and water on your own expenses).
