Amboseli is set on the Kenyan plains with Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop in the distance, the park is world-famous for its substantial population of African Elephants which can be seen in herds of over 100 individuals.
Catch African sunrise as we progress towards Amboseli via African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle.
In particular the large bull elephants have largest tusks in the animal kingdom, spot ample herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and impala, giraffes and warthog. A healthy population of predators also call Amboseli home. Lions, leopards, caracals, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and serval cats are all frequently seen in the park.
The Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding country, tallest in Africa and the highest free standing in the world.
While it remains in the background we marvel at the wildlife and scenery found in this park.

1Amboseli National Park
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence within Nairobi CBD, or from Jomo Kenyatta Airport, at 0500hrs. Depart for Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, catching the African sunrise as you travel through the savanna, dotted with Maasai homesteads and herds of cattle. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, ostriches, and more, with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. After marveling at the wildlife and stunning scenery, enjoy a buffet lunch at Oltukai Lodge, followed by a short afternoon game drive as you exit the park. Later, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the early evening. This tour is suitable for families and children, with drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or residence.
