You can get there on foot from the beach by passing through shallow aquamarine and turquoise waters. The white and pink sand made of thousands of broken seashells, the limpid blue-green waters, the little coves and the secluded tiny beaches remind the travelers of a paradise lost.

Spend a relaxing day on the small island of Elafonisi and soak up the sun on a pink sand beach. Enjoy the natural beauty on a day trip from Chania.

During our drive to Elafonissi we will make a 20-30 minute stop at a small traditional village called “Elos” at about 10:00a.m for breakfast .

Take in the lush green landscape on the way to the island as you travel through the impressive Topolia Gorge and pass many old and very typical villages. Stop for a coffee and breakfast in the village of Elos, known for its chestnut trees.
