Unfinished Obelisk

This colossal monument, carved from the bedrock of the quarry, was intended to be one of the largest obelisks ever constructed, reaching a height of approximately 137 feet (42 meters) and weighing an estimated 1,200 tons. As a result, the massive stone was left unfinished, abandoned in the quarry where it still lies today.
