Travel for five days uncovering the amazing beauty of Jordan and its wonders. Visiting the Biblical sites of Mt Nebo and Madaba, Red Rose City, Petra a UNESCO heritage site in Jordan. Go for a jeep ride in Wadi Rum and discover the natural sightseeing of the desert and its village. See Jordan's only coastal city, Aqaba City. You will be accompanied by our English speaking driver throughout your trip.
Our representative welcomes you with a signage at Amman Airport. Transfer about 45 minutes to your Amman Hotel, check in, and overnight.
After breakfast at hotel drive for about 1 hour to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. You visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.
After we proceed to Madaba, where to find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church. Driving along the famous ancient caravan route the King's Way, we have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation (you will have a short photo stop).
Continue to Petra hotel, check in at your hotel and overnight.
After breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Petra Visitor Center where will you meet your English speaking local guide. Petra also known as the red rose city is the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundation of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. With the guide pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. The guide says farewell to you at the restaurant area; free time to explore Petra on your own (for instance climb the 800 stairs to the Monastery El Deir). Guided tour last for 2.5 hours only.
After your tour in Petra, about 14:00, drive southward for 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum, transfer to your camp, check-in and overnight.
After breakfast at camp, proceed to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions.
After tour at Wadi Rum, drive 1 hour to the southern most part of Jordan. Have a round at Aqaba by visiting the Mamluk Fort and the House of Sharif Hussein Bin Ali. See the archaeological dig Ayla and time for some duty free shopping in the Souq.
Drive back for 4 hours via desert higway to the bustling city of Amman. Transfer to you hotel and overnight.
After breakfast at hotel, latest check out 12:00, then according to flight departure transfer 45 minutes to Amman airport and say farewell.
