Discover Kampala’s post-colonial and burgeoning art scene with this tour of main-stream and independent art galleries, a fashion studio, local artists collective workshop and the National Museum. The day-tour allows guests to not only view art but to observe the artist at work in their studios and to engage with the artists and hear their stories. The experience also includes lunch at a traditional Ugandan restaurant.

A briefing on the history of post-colonial industrial and fine arts in Uganda from a member of the teaching staff. Visit to the displays and workshops at the school.

    Visit to the workshop and display room of a local fashion artist in Kampala. See examples of her work, hear her story and more on the local Kampala fashion scene

    Local collective of painters, weavers and local crafts men. Visit their workshops and learn about the independent art and craft scene in Kampala. Also a a chance to buy some souvenirs
