Egyptian kings of Old kingdom are buried in Sakkara, located 12 miles southwest of Cairo. The famous step pyramid of King Zoser is one of the most extensive stone building in the history of the mankind and the first pyramid to be erected in ancient Egypt, preceding those at Giza by many centuries

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
