Abu Simbel
Around 4 am, your guide will pick you up from Aswan at the place you choose. You will be driven during 3 hours by private air-conditioned car to Abu Simbel, 290 km south of Aswan. The two temples you are about to visit are located on the west bank of Lake Nasser. They were originally located in a lower area where they buried under the sand and also were doomed to be drowned under the Nile water. In order to save these Ancient treasures, decision was made to relocate them. Therefore, the temples were entirely relocated in 1968 : dislocated and reassembled in a higher area to save them from flooding. Temple of Philae

Unfinished Obelisk
