1Zaanse Schans
An option for this tour is also a brief stop at the Zaanse Schans. At this open air museum we can visit various windmills and a clog factory. For some windmills there will; be a small admission fee since all windmills are operated by volunteers.

Giethoorn, often called the “Venice of the Netherlands,” is a picturesque village in the Dutch province of Overijssel. Surrounded by lush greenery and part of the Weerribben-Wieden National Park, Giethoorn is a haven for nature lovers and photographers alike, blending tranquil waterways with traditional Dutch countryside charm.
