Experience Uganda's spectacular nature and wildlife whilst deepening your yoga practice. Relax, de-stress and centre your body and mind in some of the most unique and breathtaking locations in Uganda. The tour includes one-on-one tuition from a dedicated yoga instructor for daily classes as well as entry to national parks and white-water rafting on the Nile.
Your driver will collect you from the airport, your hotel or other agreed pick-up point in Kampala or Entebbe.
Arrival at Entebbe Airport. Pick up and transfer to your accommodation. If time allows, it is possible to visit the beautiful Entebbe botanical gardens.
After breakfast, we drive to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary on the way. The Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can see the endangered white Rhino. You will get the opportunity to meet these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Arriving at the santuary, you will meet your assigned ranger, who will guide you through the bush to where the rhinos are on the day of your visit.
After tracking the rhinos, we continue to Murchison Falls National Park in time to have lunch, relax after a long drive. Your instructor will guide you in a relaxing sunset yoga session to help you unwind after the long journey.
We will take an early morning game drive. At this time, animals are active before the heat of the day. We will see herds of elephants, giraffes, different species of antelopes, prides of lions and a variety of bird life. Our guide will help us understand more about the park's vibrant ecosystem. We return to our accommodation in time for breakfast. After breakfast, our instructor will lead us in an invigorating yoga session.
After lunch, we will take a boat ride to Murchison Falls, encountering a variety of birds and wildlife on our way, including hippoes and crocodiles. We will finish the day with a yoga session and meditation under the stars.
We wake up at dawn for an early morning yoga session as the sun comes up. After a relaxed breakfast we take a slow drive out of the park, observing more animals on the way, exiting by the Chobe gate.
In the afternoon we transfer to Lira, our stopover for the night. Lira is one of Northern Uganda's largest towns. We will visit a local restaurant for some traditional Northern Ugandan cuisine. Relax in the evening or sample some of Lira's nightlife.
In the morning we transfer to Sipi, a breathtaking mountain village and home of Sipi Falls. We arrive in time for lunch at Sipi River Lodge.
After lunch, we hike Sipi Falls, visiting the lower, middle and upper falls for breathtaking views. We return to Sipi River lodge and enjoy a late afternoon yoga session in the shade of the garden.
After a dawn yoga session, we drive to Jinja, home of the source of the Nile. We arrive in time for lunch at Nile Porch, with spectacular views across the river.
In the afternoon, we prepare for whitewater rafting on the Nile. The rafting tour is led by experienced guides and the routes moderated to your preference - have a relaxed descent with a few bumps or head straight for the most challenging waves. Lifejackets are included and safety kayaks will follow us the whole way. Upon return, unwind under the stars with a final meditation and yoga session.
Depending on the time of your flight, you can enjoy a morning in Jinja. Visit the art market for some arts and crafts or we can organise an outdoor activity such as stand-up paddle boarding, quad-biking, crazy golf or horse riding at an additional cost.
Our driver will transfer us back to Entebbe in time for our flight. For passengers leaving late at night/early morning, a hotel room can be arranged in Entebbe.
