1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 3 more

Tired of being in big groups to visit Iceland? This self-guided audio tour is made for you! Explore Reykjavik the proper way: taking your time, relaxed, and on your own schedule.

The tour starts from the most notorious sight of Reykjavik: Hallgrimskirkja, the main church, and ends on the opposite side of the city center by the Prime minister's house. Let the voice guide you and discover how Reykjavik went from a Viking village to a booming modern Capitale while seeing local gems and the city’s best-known sites. The tour plays audio automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smart phone’s GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app. Once downloaded, the tour works entirely offline.

Start the tour in the app, put your phone in your pocket, and let your guide direct you through the streets. The total walking distance is approximately 4km and takes about 1.5-2 hours without stopping, but you can pause anytime! At the end, we will also recommend some local hangouts for you to try our food and drinks.
