Get ready for a journey back in time through Lima’s fascinating history! Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin an incredible exploration of Lima’s Historic Center, a colonial gem filled with charm and culture. First stop, the legendary Casa Aliaga, the oldest mansion in the Americas, with over 500 years of history. Walk through its grand halls and corridors, transporting yourself to colonial times with its impressive architecture and unique details. Next, visit the iconic Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you'll discover the majestic Cathedral of Lima and other stunning historical buildings. Final stop, the Larco Museum, a true hidden treasure in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre. Then, get ready to explore Cusco on a fascinating guided tour. Your first stop is Coricancha, the legendary Temple of the Sun, where the Incas once worshiped their gods in structures covered in gold. Later, the Spanish built the Convent of Santo Domingo on its foundations, creating a breathtaking fusion of Inca and colonial architecture. Next, you'll walk to the Cusco Cathedral, a colonial masterpiece that houses stunning carvings and paintings from the renowned Cusco School. The adventure continues into the hills surrounding the city, where you'll visit Sacsayhuamán, an awe-inspiring fortress with massive stone blocks perfectly fitted together. 7Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, a charming town nestled at the foot of Machu Picchu, you'll discover a vibrant artisan market, a variety of restaurants, and cozy accommodations. From there, you'll take a 25-minute bus ride up to the legendary Machu Picchu. This UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World is a masterpiece of Inca engineering and architecture. Believed to have been a sanctuary and retreat for Inca Emperor Pachacutec, Machu Picchu, meaning "Old Mountain," will leave you speechless with its historical grandeur and natural magnificence. At the end of the visit, you'll return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you'll enjoy a delicious set-menu lunch at Café Inkaterra, offering a unique view of the Vilcanota River. After your train ride back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, a transport will be waiting at the train station to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

During the hike, you'll have the chance to stop at the mountain viewpoint to take photos and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Afterward, you'll begin your descent back, with time to rest before heading to the parking lot and taking the bus back to Cusipata. After a day filled with adventure and natural beauty, a delicious lunch awaits you in Cusipata before returning to your hotel in Cusco.

- Information about Machu Picchu: The first entry to the citadel requires mandatory accompaniment by a guide. Please note that the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. The visiting route within Machu Picchu and the schedules are subject to availability. To purchase Machu Picchu entrance tickets, it is necessary to provide the full name, date of birth, nationality, and passport number of the passengers, which must match the valid passport used for the trip. Please keep in mind that entry tickets to the citadel are non-refundable once purchased.
- On all train services to Machu Picchu, passengers may only carry hand luggage (backpack, handbag, or briefcase) on the train to/from Machu Picchu, with a maximum weight of 5kg / 11lb. Your main luggage will be waiting for you at your selected hotel.
- Make sure to check with your embassy if you need a VISA to enter Peru (or any other country included in your itinerary). We are not responsible if you do not have all the necessary documentation to enter the country. Foreign travelers visiting Peru must ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months to enter the national territory.
- Please note that Cusco and Machu Picchu are located in a high-altitude region. We recommend: drinking plenty of water, avoiding alcohol and tobacco, refraining from strenuous physical activity (walk slowly and rest when needed), and eating light meals.
