Travel the 80 kilometers separating El Calafate from Los Glaciares National Park, passing through the quiet beauty of the Andean foothills. Once inside the park, walk along the catwalks of the glacier, guided only by the silver glow of the full moon and your own flashlight. After the moonlit silence of the night before, today you’ll see the glacier in all its daylight glory. Set out for a visit to the walkways of Perito Moreno Glacier, where multiple viewpoints reveal its immense walls of ice in constant motion and color. Watch as thunderous cracks announce the birth of new icebergs — a reminder of nature’s raw power. Later, embark on the Safari Náutico navigation, sailing across the glacial waters to the southern face of Perito Moreno. From the boat, feel the scale of this frozen giant as you drift near its towering blue cliffs — close enough to sense the chill rising from the ice.
