07:00 -8:00AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang. Drive along the scenic Hai Van Pass, famous for its panoramic mountain and sea views. Stop for photos at the top of the pass. Continue to Lap An Lagoon and admire the peaceful fishing village life with the backdrop of Bach Ma mountains.
Upon arrival in Hue, visit the Imperial City (Citadel), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, The Mieu Temple, and the Forbidden Purple City, where the Nguyen Dynasty once lived and ruled.
Thien Mu Pagoda considered by many as the unofficial symbol of Hue. Thien Mu is an active Buddhist monastery with origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Saigon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime.
Lunch at a local restaurant with authentic Hue cuisine(Option) Thuy Xuan Incense Village – Discover Hue’s famous incense-making village, where you can witness the traditional craft of making incense sticks and take colorful photos.
Visit the Tomb of King Khai Dinh or Tomb of King Tu Duc, showcasing unique architecture and history of the Nguyen emperors.
