On Arrival at JKIA international airport, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve towards the Great Rift Valley having a stopover at the view point, which is on the south along the floor of the great rift valley then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti plains''. Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. Visit to Masai villages is also an option. The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of the Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Masai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park - Morans. Return to the lodge in the evening. After breakfast, we have a full day game drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it's possible to see the big five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
The destination for today is the famous Lake Nakuru. Starting your day early and finishing up a quick breakfast, you will begin the six-hour-long journey covering a distance of about 340 kilometers to Lake Nakuru. On reaching Lake Nakuru in the afternoon, you will be just in time for a scrumptious lunch and a few hours to rest after checking in to the lodge. Early in the evening, you will head out on your game drive to see one of the world’s largest ornithological sites. Lake Nakuru region is extremely famous for its flamingoes and diverse wildlife. What adds even more awe to the place is the Black and White Rhinos that are found in this park.
After breakfast check out after breakfast and continue to Lake Naivasha Bird Sanctuary, arriving at Lake Naivasha's top camp at midday for lunch. Lake Naivasha is one of the Great Rift Valley's jewels, reflecting the tranquil beauty of the African sky and the surrounding mountains. The lake's color is temporarily distorted as flocks of graceful flamingos and pink-backed pelicans settle on the water. Relax after lunch at the lodge and get the chance to enjoy its facilities and optional activities on offer. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Have an early breakfast. After depart and drive south to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Game viewing en route with the immense grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Lunch at Kimana Amboseli. Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy an evening game drive. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya's national parks. Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling Savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa equivalent.
Another exciting day in Amboseli National Park, we recommend that you get up early morning where one can experience excellent game viewing & an unprecedented view of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your camp and take in the African wilderness. Afternoon game drives in anticipation of seeing the “BIG FIVE”. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Have breakfast at the camp. Depart for Nairobi with game drive enroute. On arrival have lunch in Nairobi at one of the city hotels later do last minute shopping at one of the markets. After shopping transfer to the airport to arrive in time for your international final departure, where your safari ends.
