The mysterious castle ruins Trosky, where, according to legend, the devil himself once resided, are the first stop on a journey through the medieval landscape of the Kingdom of Bohemia. Located in the amazing landscape of the Czech paradise, this is where the story and our journey begins.
A royal town whose glory touched the stars in the Middle Ages. Kutná hora was a place where those who were not lucky mined silver with sweat and blood and minted coins, the nobles grew rich and reveled, and the king pampered it and often stayed here. Walk with us through the fascinating nooks and crannies of the medieval city and look beneath the surface of the facades of Gothic and bourgeois houses to a deep history full of conspiracies and secret stories.
A unique cathedral, where for more than 600 years miners, coiners, nobles, townspeople and kings have been going to beg for God's grace and mercy. One of the most beautiful Gothic monuments in Europe, which in its beauty and majesty surpasses most churches you have ever seen. It was also in this cathedral that the official St. Barbara theme song in the truly magical game soundtrack was recorded. It is here that you can imagine Henry, a trusted member of the king's rightful allies, praying with Sir Hans Capone for the success of the diplomatic mission and for them to survive a series of dangerous adventures that put their skills, character and friendship to the ultimate test.
Centuries of wars, famines, epidemics, revenge and reprisals claimed thousands of dead who were buried in the cemetery next to the Church of All Saints in village Sedlec. However, when it was decided that the cemetery would be closed, the remains were to be consigned to oblivion. But here was a monk who received a message directly from God that he should save these bones in a church which nowdays is world-famous ossuary. Later, all kinds of bizarre decorations were made from them to remind us of "Memento Mori".
