The adventure moves from the iconic to the ancestral as we head to Sakkara. This is the necropolis that started it all. You’ll explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s first successful attempt at a monumental stone pyramid. Beyond the "big stone," you’ll venture inside Pharaonic tombs where the colors on the walls remain so vivid they look like they were painted yesterday, offering a rare, intimate glimpse into the lives of the elites who built this empire. Upon your arrival in Aswan, our team will whisk you away to your 5-star Nile Cruise—your floating sanctuary for the journey ahead. Once settled, we trade the cruise ship for a nimble motorboat to reach the Philae Temple. There is no "walking" to this site; you approach it from the water, watching the towering pylons of the Temple of Isis rise slowly from the Nile like a mirage.
