your guide will pick you up from ( Luxor Airport, Railway station or Hotel ) and transfer you by A/C vehicle to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the largest complex in the world known as (Karnak )built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres.
Proceed to visit Luxor temple, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and statues. Back to the cruise, dinner on board and overnight in luxor. Note: If your arrival to Luxor is so early, so we will start the tour directly upon arrival because you won't be able to check in before 12 pm.
after you have your Breakfast on board you will start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies
you will proceed to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen from your guide to her exciting story and how she managed to rule as a sole Pharaoh.that queen is regarded one of the most 2 famous queens had ruled Egypt, and she ruled this country for almost 22 years.
on your way back to the east bank you will make the last stop by the clossal statues of memnon,which originally carved for the king Amenhotep the third,the same king who bulit luxor temple,and you will listen from your egyptologist guide why it was named after that Memnon. then you will go back directly to the boat to start sailing toward the south.
After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus in Edfu city which regarded the best preserved temple. then,Back to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Kom Ombo
Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city where to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Return to the cruise and have dinner followed by a party ,they call it Galbyia party,operated by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.
Aswan city After breakfast on board, we will have a full day in Aswan. This is a laid-back town that reflects the character of its largely Nubian inhabitants, known for being friendly and hospitable. By virtue of its position on the old caravan route, it has always been a trading centre and we thoroughly recommend visiting the packed bazaar today, where merchants display spices, carpets, leather goods and countless other wares. the first attraction which became one of aswan land marks is the high dam which was built 1961 during the time of Nasser,but opend during the time of sadat 1971.
after the dam we will head the isis temple which built on philae island,so we will take a motor boat to get there,philae In the 1970s it was relocated by Unesco to Aglika Island after it became evident that the original site of Philae would submerge on completion of the Aswan High Dam. It represents a magnificent and enduring testament to both ancient and modern engineering.
by the end of the day on your way back ,you will make one last stop with one of the granite quarries which aswan city is famous for to see one of quarries that go back to the time of ancient egyptians,plus you will see an oblisk in that quarry goes back to the time of the queen hatshespsut,left unfinished,cuz when they tried to cut it.it was cracked thats why they left it unfinshed,and that one will give you the oppertunity to see the technique which used back then for cutting stones. then you will make your way backing to the boat.
departure after you check out,meet your represetative in the lobby to begin your transfer to the Aswan airport,where you will board your return flight to cairo connecting with your flight back home.
