You'll learn from the guide how Yugoslav Air Defence managed to "see" it on the radar and hit it.
Standing beside the Fortress, Kalemegdan Park is today a beloved public space, though in Ottoman times it was a battlefield. Here your guide will explain the meaning of the word Kalemegdan and share the fascinating story behind the monument “Gratitude to France”, adding depth to this historic setting.

From downtown Belgrade, you’ll cross the rivers to explore the charming district of Zemun. Just a century ago, this area belonged to the Austrian Empire, which left a strong mark through its baroque architecture. With its unique look and atmosphere, Zemun tells stories that feel distinct from Belgrade, offering visitors a chance to experience another side of the city’s rich heritage.
The most captivating part of Zemun is Gardoš, with its winding streets, old houses, churches, and hidden corners where life feels slower and more relaxed than in bustling Belgrade.
