    Located almost halfway from Prague and from Berlin, Dresden is the ideal stop on the way to split your 4-hour trip into two shorter ones. With this stop you will be able to see more of the Saxony region, as well as visit its capital. There are plenty of historical buildings to see in this city.     Frauenkirche Dresden

    The Frauenkirche (or the Church of Our Lady, in English) was originally completed in 1743, however it was completely destroyed during the second world war. In 1994 the rebuilding process started, using some material of the original Frauenkirche. It was completed in 2005 and it has been open to the public ever since.
