The Grand Egyptian Museum.You will have the opportunity to view the Hanging Obelisk, King Ramses II Statue, 10 Statues of King Senusert (from a distance), and the Grand Staircase, Besides the Main Galleries. Upon entering the museum, you will be greeted by the grand facade adorned with hieroglyphs, cartouches, and a hanging obelisk. The majestic statue of King Ramses II stands as a welcoming sight within the museum. The Museum lobby showcases other masterpieces such as the Ptolemaic King and Queen exhibits, as well as the Victory Column of King Merenptah.12 Main Galleries at the museum showcase 15,000 artifacts spanning Egypt’s entire ancient history. These galleries are divided into four main sections: Prehistoric to The Second Intermediate Period Middle Kingdom to Second Intermediate Period Third Intermediate to Graeco-Roman Period You ascend the Grand stairs, you will encounter approximately 65 statues depicting kings, queens, and ancient Egyptian Gods from the old, middle.
The tour proceeds with a visit to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside the Citadel of Salah El-Din. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
Afterward, we will move on to Coptic Cairo and visit the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga. Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.
