Day 2: Kom-Ombo and Edfu Temples

Kom Ombo
Breakfast on board Leisure time Sailing to Kom Ombo at 13:00 p.m. Lunch on board Visit the Temple shared by two gods, Sobek & Harris, in Kom Ombo Kom-ombo where you will visit the double temple of both Sobek, the crocodile god and Horus the falcon god, located on the river bank. The Kom ombo temple was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty, with additions during the roman period. While much of the temple has been destroyed by the Nile flood, the ruins are spectacular, and some 300 crocodile mummies have been discovered in the vicinity and are displayed inside the temples crocodile museum.

Luxor tour

Temple of Karnak
Start your tour moving from your hotel in Cairo in the early morning towards Cairo Airport taking the flight towards Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor, you will be met by our representative, then have a blissful day tour kicking off at Karnak Temple, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Valley of the Kings
Then pay a visit to Valley of The Kings, containing the masterpieces of the ancient Egyptian tombs. Then move onto the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Lunch is going to be served during your trip. In the evening, you will be driven to Luxor airport & back to Cairo. Then taken to your Hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
