At 06:00 pm we will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to the Luxor train station. The journey to Aswan will take 3 hours. Arrival at Aswan Station. You will be met & assisted by our expert tour guide who will be waiting for you on the platform with a sign with your name. and transfer you to your hotel in Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Abu Simbel

Abu Simbel Temple Complex
At 4.00 am we will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and transfer to Abu Simbel (was built by Ramses II). Your Egyptologist will explain to you why not only the two temples at Abu Simbel are among the most magnificent monuments in the world, but also why their removal and reconstruction was a historic event itself. Listen to how it was, when the temples, 174 miles (280 km) from Aswan were threatened by submersion in Lake Nasser, due to the construction of the High Dam. During the salvage operation (1964 -1968) two temples were dismantled and raised over 197 feet (60 m) up the sandstone cliff where they had been built before more than 3,000 years. Here they were reassembled, in the exact same relationship to each other, and covered with an artificial mountain. Finally, you will be transferred back to Aswan train station for your journey back to Luxor. After arrival at Luxor train station, our local representative will meet and assist you and transfer you to your hotel in Luxor.
