Welcome to Cairo, Egypt Egypt Gift Tours representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, and he will accompany you to the hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, the representative will assist you to check-in and review your holiday itinerary to confirm pick-up times for each tour. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show, or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show (optional).
This morning, after having the breakfast, your private guide will pick up you for a full day tour of Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Coptic Cairo. Start your day by visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind, enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. You'll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general. After this great tour, you will have the chance to go to a papyrus institute to see how the Egyptians produced this genuine artwork thousands of years ago. Proceed to Saqqara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for King Zoser), the world’s oldest major stone structure, in Saqqara, it is considered an important part of the pyramid evolution, which were made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. This pyramid was built during the reign of the Third Dynasty of Ancient Egypt 4,800 years ago. Also visit the Tombs of the Nobles in Saqqara and learn more about the daily life of ancient Egyptian noblemen.
You will continue to explore and then transfer to the south and visit the Red Pyramid and Bent pyramid at Dahshour. This is a famous royal necropolis in Egypt located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of Cairo. It is known chiefly for many famous pyramids two of which are among the oldest, largest and best preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BC; the red and bent Pyramids of King Snefru.
After breakfast on board the train, and once you arrive at Aswan train station our representative will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name to transfer you by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise for embarkation in Aswan before lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy visiting the High Dam and Temple of Philae on Isis Island then back to your Nile cruise. Dinner on board. There is also an early morning optional visit to the UNESCO world heritage site of Abu Simbel. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded. Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we might start the tour direct upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we don't want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.
Breakfast on board. Free leisure morning on the deck. Have lunch and be ready for the cruise navigation by afternoon heading to Kom Ombo city where to visit the amazing Temple Of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Also, you will get to visit the Crocodile Museum. Get back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.
After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck
Passing through the Esna lock to Luxor; built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor harbor, to visit Luxor Temple which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night and where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.
Breakfast and check out to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.
Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional).
Then to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.
Later on, you will be transferred to Luxor train station to get the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board the sleeper train. Overnight in your Cabin
Breakfast on board the sleeper train before arriving at Giza train station where you will be met and assisted by our representative. He will transfer you to your hotel for free time to stay at your hotel in Cairo. Or choose one of our optional tours, and don't miss a day on your holiday.
