Begin your day with an early departure from Lijiang, and make your way to the Napa Sea Observation Platform, a World Natural Heritage Site that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. As you continue your journey, arrive at the Three Parallel Rivers Moon Bay, where the confluence of three mighty rivers creates a surreal and awe-inspiring spectacle. As you venture deeper into the Yunnan wilderness, make your way to the ancient Feilai Temple, a sacred site shrouded in mystique and legend. From here, journey to the quaint Xidang Village, where the scent of incense and local delicacies wafts through the air. Next, board an off-road vehicle that will transport you to the secluded Yubeng Village, nestled deep within the mountains. Once arrived, lace up your hiking boots and embark on a 5-hour trek along the Shenpu trail, winding through lush forests and towering peaks. As you stand at the threshold of the Shenbeng Plateau, prepare for a challenging yet rewarding hike to the majestic Ice Lake, a crystal-clear oasis amidst the rugged landscape. The approximately 14-kilometer trek, which will take around 7 hours to complete, will take you through dense forests, over rocky terrain, and across suspension bridges, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains. With each step, the anticipation builds as you draw closer to your destination - the serene Ice Lake, its icy surface reflecting the majestic peaks that tower above. Once you've reached this natural wonder, take a moment to absorb its beauty before making your way back to Shangyubeng Village, where warm hospitality and hearty meals await.
