Rhodes, the largest of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is known for its beach resorts, ancient ruins and remnants of its occupation by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades.
Embonas is a picturesque village 54 km from Rhodes town, nestled on the slopes of Mount Attavyros. Surrounded by vineyards, it’s known for a unique grape variety with roots in antiquity. As the heart of Rhodes' wine industry, it’s the ideal spot for a wine tasting on the island.
Sianna Village. On the way to the west coast, we pass charming mountain villages built amphitheatrically on the slopes. They’re known for souma production and thriving beekeeping. Their pure honey is considered the best on the island and you’ll get the chance to taste it!
Our final stop is the castle of Monolithos or Kritinia, perched on a cliff 240m above the sea on the island’s southwest coast. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset and a romantic wine tasting experience that will stay with you forever.
