Coimbatore Parambikulam Jungle Safari & Stay

    1 stop
  • 1

Start your journey from Coimbatore by private vehicle. Enjoy a peaceful drive through the Western Ghats, passing through Pollachi and Aliyar. Proceed to Anappady Forest Check Post, the main entry point to Parambikulam Tiger Reserve. Enter the forest reserve after necessary registrations and fees. Begin your guided jeep safari through dense forests, grasslands, and water bodies. Chances to spot: elephants, gaurs (Indian bison), deer, peacocks, langurs, and, if lucky, a leopard or tiger. The safari covers Thunakkadavu Dam, wildlife waterholes, and forest routes. Lunch at the forest eco-centre or a pre-arranged picnic spot near the dam or lake. Rest and relax by the serene waters surrounded by thick vegetation. Visit Kannimara Teak, one of the world’s oldest and largest living teak trees. Short trek to a forest viewpoint or tribal settlement. Check into forest accommodations: choose from treetop huts, island cottages, or eco-lodges.
