A special outdoor experience awaits you in the middle of Innsbruck. A sail, a bridge, and a surfboard - that's all you need to surf upstream. UP STREAM SURFING is a mix of wakeboarding and surfing - including turns, 360s, or bunny hops. Qualified surf coaches are always at your side with advice and action and you will soon be a pro on the wild waters of Innsbruck.

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

There is a car park on site and a bus stop (Kranebitten Süd). From there, go to the Hans-Flöckinger-Promenade, over the bridge in the direction of the Inn. We meet on the meadow by the Inn in front of the pavilion.

What to expect

Surf against the current with us and experience an unforgettable adventure! In our UP STREAM SURFING courses you will learn how to master the surfboard and make clean turns in the water - whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer. Our qualified instructors will be with you every step of the way to ensure you master the art of surfing in no time.

To start, you practice on a static rope attached to the bridge. Once you've mastered getting up and getting a feel for the board, move on to the UP STREAM SURFING system. There you can prove your skills and surf against the current at over 30 km/h and up to 300 meters - the ideal adrenaline rush for all outdoor lovers. The special thing about our system is that it is driven exclusively by flow energy and is therefore environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The difficulty of the UP STREAM system can be adjusted as you like, so you can improve your skills individually. Only basic swimming skills and a minimum age of 16 are required to participate in our surf courses.
