    our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned modern vehicle to the mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun.

    Continue walking from the twin-towered Bab el-Fotouh, a fortified gate in Cairo’s old city walls, to Khan el-Khalili bazaar, one of the city’s major souks. Immerse yourself in the tightly packed stalls displaying everything from spices and leather goods to jewelery and vegetables, all on a street that has hardly changed for centuries. Bargaining is expected, so prepare to negotiate.

    Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before driving to the madrasa, and mausoleum of Sultan al-Mansur Qalawun and the Madrasa-Khanqah of Sultan Barquq. Your guide will show you the Museum of textiles and the mosque of Al-Aqmar, before seeing, the best example of an old Cairo house. Then transfer back to your hotel.
