The 8-day Kenya and Tanzania Safari is the most comprehensive express tour available to uncover the wonders of Kenya and Tanzania.

Begin your journey by visiting the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Nairobi Giraffe Center, where you’ll learn about the challenges facing two of Africa’s Big Five and how to respect and protect them.     Nairobi - Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage - Giraffe Center Nairobi

    After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up to begin your African adventure. You’ll visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, a sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and caring for baby elephants orphaned due to poaching. The orphanage is part of the “David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust,” an organization committed to protecting wildlife in East Africa. It’s located near Nairobi National Park, about 15 kilometers from downtown Nairobi. The entrance fee, included in the tour, fully supports the trust’s conservation efforts.

    Giraffe Centre

    In the afternoon, you’ll take part in the second excursion of the day with a visit to the Giraffe Center in Nairobi. Located in Langata, just 5 km from downtown, the center was established in 1983 to protect the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi), which is native only to the grasslands of East Africa. We believe it’s essential and rewarding for our travelers to understand the threats these animals face, so they can truly appreciate and respect them during the upcoming reserve visits on your Kenya and Tanzania trip.

    Nairobi - Masai Mara

    Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Masai Mara National Park. You’ll arrive at the reserve in the early afternoon and begin your first photo safari of the trip—get ready to keep your eyes wide open! After the safari, you’ll head to Enkorok Mara Camp, where you’ll spend the next two nights during your Kenya adventure.

    The adventure continues! Today, accompanied by your local guide, you’ll enjoy your first full day safari in the Masai Mara. You’ll spend the entire day exploring this incredible reserve and savor a delicious lunch, either at the lodge or as a picnic out in the heart of the African savannah.     After breakfast, you’ll travel with your guide to the Isbania Border, the crossing point between Kenya and Tanzania. Once there, you’ll complete the necessary formalities with the guide’s assistance and switch trucks and guides to continue your journey through Tanzania. Begin your Tanzanian adventure with a trip to Serengeti National Park.

    When you arrive, you’ll set out on your first half-day safari in Tanzania with your local guide. Afterward, you’ll get into your private vehicle and head to either Mawe Tented Camp or Wildebeest Tented Camp, where you’ll stay for the next two nights. Sleeping in the heart of the Serengeti promises a truly unique experience. Camp assignment depends on availability.
