Itinerary

1Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early in the morning, 0800hrs you will be picked up in Nairobi by the driver/guide and provide a briefing on your safari before we depart for Maasai Mara. Enjoy a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya's premier game reserve. You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly en-route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning views of what is the world's largest valley. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch. The afternoon game-drive at 3:30 pm allows spotting of the unrivaled wildlife in the park. Return to your lodge by 6:30 pm.

2Maasai Mara National Reserve
Full day in Masai Mara. You enjoy two game-drives today, one in the morning at 6:15 am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch. As your safari is private your game-drive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game-drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch. Return is in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

3Mara River
Spend the full day (or have morning and afternoon game-drives at your pleasure we are flexible), exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches as you do the game drives. There are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sited at the banks of Mara River. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. An overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

4Nairobi
Early breakfast then checks out followed by possible game viewing en-route off to Nairobi. When you arrive, you will be dropped to your hotel or the Airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
