Please arrive at the Windhoek Truck Port by 06h45. The Go2 Traveller Transfer departs at 07h00 for a 5-hour (345km) journey to Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei’s famed dunes. The scenic route heads southwest, skirting the Naukluft Mountains, passing Heroes’ Acre and the "Window Bridge". You'll travel through Rehoboth, home of the Rehoboth Basters, then onto the picturesque Remhoogte Pass.
Arrive at the Namib Desert Lodge around noon. After check-in, enjoy lunch (on your own account) and leisure time.
The 2- to 3-hour Sundowner Dune Drive begins 2 hours before sunset and features fossilized dunes, red dunes, and refreshments.
Dinner follows the tour. Settle in for the night and prepare for day 2 of your safari adventure.
Start early and spend much of the day climbing the world's highest dunes. Big Daddy offers a challenging climb, but the stunning views are worth it. Descend to the whispering sands of the Namib, leading to Dead Vlei's ancient camelthorn trees, a photographer’s paradise.
Continue exploring the rugged Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for the evening. Don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, comfortable walking shoes, and camera. Sossusvlei excursion: A guided half-day tour including park entrance fees, brunch, and refreshments (5 to 6 hours).
After the tour, enjoy some leisure time before dinner.

The Go2 Traveller Transfer departs Namib Desert Lodge at 13h00 for a 5-hour (345km) journey to Windhoek. Travel north, past Rehoboth, through stunning desert landscapes and the impressive Naukluft Mountains. Along the way, you'll pass Solitaire, fossilized dunes, and picturesque settlements via Remhoogte Pass. The scenery shifts from tawny hills to vibrant greens after rain. Before reaching Windhoek, spot Heroes’ Acre, a memorial to Namibia’s freedom fighters.
