Around 8 miles (13 km) away, find Sarnath, where the Dhamekh Stupa remains as the site of Buddha's most memorable lesson. Investigate the Archeological Gallery, displaying treasures tracing back to the third century BC (shut on Fridays). Sarnath: Sarnath is a huge area arranged 10 kilometers upper east of Varanasi, close to the conjunction of the Ganges and Varuna streams in Uttar Pradesh, India. It's where Gautama Buddha conveyed his most memorable lessons and where the Buddhist Sangha began through the edification of Kondanna." Dasaswamedh Ghat: At 5 pm, return to the Ganges to notice the incineration grounds, then head back to Dashashwamedh Ghat for the charming night Ganga Aarti service.
