Wadowice is a city where Karol Wojtywła was born, a man who became pope. After reaching the place, the driver will show you the correct entrance to the Pope's family home where the Museum is located, there you will go through a short ticket check and start guided tours.
After the ticket control, you will visit the Family House of Karol Wojtyla, the Holy Father John Paul II in the city of Wadowice thanks to a professional guide speaking your language. The Museum's mission is to commemorate and disseminate knowledge about the life and teachings of the Holy Father, John Paul II, whose pontificate and message occupy a special place in the Polish national heritage. The museum is trying to pass on to the next generations the person of John Paul II - as a model of a noble, wise man, open to other people, enjoying authority and respect. Visiting the house of John Paul II will take about 1.5 hours, you will spend the next 30 minutes exploring the central square of the city from which John Paul II comes and the church where the future pope was baptized.
After the first part of the tour, it is possible to have a lunch break and rest before continuing the travel. The travel from the hometown of John Paul II in Wadowice to the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna in Częstochowa will take about 2 hours.
Between successive parts of the tour it will be possible to organize a lunch break depending on the choice or start of the next tour point without a break.
After reaching the place, you will visit the sanctuary with the monastery of the Pauline order in the city of Częstochowa. Standard guided tours last about 1 - 1.5 hours. and includes: the Knights' Hall, the Jubilee Museum of the 600th anniversary of Jasna Góra, the Bastion of St. Roch and the Jasna Góra Basilica as well as the Chapel of the Miraculous Image of the Mother of God and the Treasury. The sanctuary is located on the hill, called "Jasna Góra" (bright mountain). It is one of the most important places of Marian cult and the most important pilgrimage center of Catholics in Poland with a miraculous image of Our Lady of Czestochowa (Black Madonna) and a collection of many other works of art, most often sacred. While visiting the sacred complex, you can go to the monastery tower that the highest viewpoint from where you can admire the panorama of the city of Czestochowa.
After completing the tour, you will be taken to a designated place in Krakow.
