In the morning we will transfer from Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Rhino’s got extinct in Uganda in the early 1980s and Ziwa site is being used as breeding site for the black and white Rhino. After we will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Dinner and overnight at Twiga Safari Lodge or similar lodge.
After the stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, we will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park
In the morning you will go for a game drive in the park to spot elephants, lions, giraffe and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you will take a relaxing boat trip on the River Nile and here you will have a chance to see crocodiles, hippos and a range of rare birds. You will also see for yourself the point where River Nile joins Lake Albert, which is one of the “major highlights” of this trip. Dinner and overnight at Twiga Safari Lodge or similar lodge.
After early morning breakfast, we will transfer to Kibale National Park via Fort Portal town. Before driving to Kibale National Park, there will be a short stopover at the Top of the Falls Viewpoint at Murchison Falls National Park
A visit to the Bigodi Community Tourism Centre can be scheduled on arrival at Kibale National Park (optional)
Here you will go into the jungle to encounter with chimpanzees and different species of monkeys like the Red Tailed Monkey, Olive baboon and Black and White Columbus Monkey.
After the chimp trek at Kibale National Park, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight.
You will start the day with an early morning breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, we proceed to the famed Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot various wild animals. Kasenyi plains dwell in the vast savannahs of the Albertine rift in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It will be a morning full of adventure! Expect to encounter lions, herds of buffalos, elephants, Uganda kobs, topi, and bushbucks. While spotting the "Big Five" in the park is not guaranteed, on a lucky day, you may site leopards to make it to the "Big Four."
After lunch, join the Kazinga channel boat cruise for an afternoon of wild game viewing. You will spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and bird species on the channel waters.
We will start the journey in the morning from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi National Park. We will arrive at Bwindi National Park in the late afternoon. If interested, there is an option to do a second chimp trek at the Kalinzu Forest Reserve (at an extra fee).
You will embark on a full day adventure to trek the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest National Park. The trek will commence with a short briefing on gorillas trekking rules. You will then start the trek into the impenetrable forest to encounter the gentle giants of Bwindi National Park.
This trip will take you to trek the golden monkeys, an endemic species of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda. You will enter the forest and walk through the bamboo vegetation and various indigenous plants like giant lobelia. Your national park guide will tell you about the national park's history and the fauna and flora that the park holds during the trip. The golden monkey trek should take about 5 hours.
After the golden monkey trekking at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, drive to Lake Bunyinyo for dinner and overnight.
This is the day you will transfer from Lake Bunyinyi to Lake Mburo National Park. After arriving at Lake Mburo National Park from Lake Bunyonyi, you can join an afternoon boat trip on Lake Mburo to sight wildlife. Alternatively, do an evening game drive.
Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a game drive at Lake Mburo National Park to spot additional wildlife. Then, start a drive to Entebbe International Airport. If interested, a stopover is scheduled at the Equator crossing to grab coffee and shop for handicrafts. After the stopover, continue with the drive to Entebbe. The estimated drive time to Entebbe is 5hrs. The estimated arrival time should be sufficient to check in for the flight if you have a flight departing Entebbe in the evening.
