After pick up at your Prague place of stay enjoy countryside scenery drive 1h by your guide to your first stop. Visit one of the most unique meeting places of locals in Czech countryside and taste some of the local specialities (included): The Station Nizbor - a former railway depot from 1876 turned into cozy place full of great food, beer & nice people (opening days in winter months can be limited).
Bohemian crystal glassworks which has operated since 1846 till today. Visit the shop (Monday-Friday). For the guided tour please choose the itinerary option with Glassworks (available Monday-Friday with exceptions).
Enjoy views at the "Czech Grand Canyon" between the food stops - former limestone mine used in several Czech movies (e.g. Medieval) & fairytales. On a short flat hike (15 min) you can take a quick look to neighboring mine "Mexico" - former working camp for political prisoners during the Communism time known as "Czech Mathausen".
Admire the 2nd most visited castle of Czech countryside (after Cesky Krumlov) on a view stop (from distance). For a public guided tour of interiors of the Karlstejn castle please choose the option with Karlstejn castle tour (not available in winter months, on Mondays and on weekdays in spring / autumn). The history of the place dates back to 14th century when it was built as a storage of the Czech Crown Jewels and as a summer seat of the caesar of the Holy Roman Empire. Today it serves as a heart of Czech patriotism.
Explore the House of Czech Karst (Czech natural protected area), little local museum. The house stands next to the entrance to the biggest cave system in Czechia. For the public guided tour of the cave system please choose the tour option with caves (not available in winter months). There is around 500 steps in the cave system (no climbing or crawling) and around 50°F / 10°C.
Continue in trying yummy Czech meals and taste flavors of Czech brewmasters on a beer tasting session in a local beloved microbrewery (the beer tasting & food samples are included).
Admire Czech small-town chateau in Mnisek pod Brdy with history dating back to the 13th century. It enchants visitors with its elegant Baroque facade, peaceful courtyards, and sweeping views of the Brdy Hills. Strolling through the castle grounds, you’ll discover romantic gardens, historic gates, and quiet corners perfect for photos and relaxation. It’s an ideal stop to soak in Czech history, architecture, and small-town charm—all in a serene, storybook setting.
Finish with "sweet cherry on the cake" & coffee (included) - in local bakery famous for its traditional Czech cakes, kolaches, cream rolls and more. After this final stop you head back in private car to Prague (back to your Prague place of stay or other place of your choice). The drive takes about 45 min.
