Explore the wonderful Douro Region, a traditional place born in the culture of wine production.

Start at Pinhão train staion with the beautiful tiles and then visit a wine project run by a local family, a place where guests can take themed tours through the vineyards and taste their own produced wines, in permanent contact with Nature.
Close to the main points of interest in the village of Pinhão, such as Miradouros and the most emblematic Quintas in the Region.

You will be guided by the winemaker.

At the end we visit a beautiful viewpoint, located at the entrance to the village of São Cristóvão do Douro and offers a panoramic view of the terraced landscape of the Douro region, as well as the confluence of the Pinhão River with the Douro River.

    Pinhao Railway Station

    Pinhão Railway Station is the most beautiful station in the Douro. Built during the 19th century it is known for its tiles depicting the production of Port wine, from the grape harvest, the treading of the grapes to the transport of the wine in rabelo boats down the river to the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The train arrived in Pinhão in 1880 which contributed to the rapid expansion of what used to be a small village. In 1937 the station received the tile panels that make it famous. They were designed by J. Oliveira, an artist who has also decorated other Portuguese stations, and were built in the Aleluia factory in Aveiro. There are 24 panels covering almost all the walls of the main building.

    Miradouro Torguiano De Sao Cristovao Do Douro

    The São Cristóvão do Douro viewpoint is located at the entrance to the village of São Cristóvão do Douro and offers a panoramic view of the terraced landscape of the Douro region, as well as the confluence of the Pinhão River with the Douro River.
