Meeting point is at North Sailing ticket office in Husavik at least 30 minutes before departure. Just look for a brown glass building with whale drawings and green letters on top saying Whale Watching Centre. Across the street from the Husavik Church.

What to expect
Did you know that the Puffin Island is the home of over 100.000 puffins that spend the summer there nesting? The puffins arrive in the middle of April every year and leave at the end of August. It is also an interesting fact that 60% of the world’s puffins breed in Iceland, so you are in the right place for seeing these funny little birds.
The tour begins with a scenic sail around Puffin Island, where guests can observe the puffins and other seabirds in their natural habitat before heading further out into the beautiful Skjálfandi Bay for whale watching. Humpback whales, dolphins, and other marine wildlife are frequently spotted in the bay, all from the comfort of a traditional Icelandic oak boat.
Warm overalls, hot chocolate, and delicious cinnamon cookies are included to make the experience even cozier while enjoying the incredible nature of North Iceland.
