Day 1
Introduction to estate/project of the Biodiverse Development Foundation

After pick-up at meeting point in Cali we travel up the mountains towards the farm/finca (+30.000m²). This experience will allow you to live close to nature and experience a more sustainable way of living. In order to create a synergy between the experiencer and the Biodiverse Development Foundation (BDF), this experience will not only provide an unique experience it also contributes to the objectives of the foundation. The objective of the BDF is: Conserve biodiversity and stimulate local socio-economic development. The activities during this experience will consist of an introduction of the farm/finca and the project of the BDF. The rest of the day is freetime to explore, enjoy or do whatever you like.

Day 2
Nature hike and workshop Permaculture

Experience 2 (day 2) will consists of a nature hike in our reserve and workshops related to permaculture and daily tasks at the farm/estate (feeding animals, take care of nursery, maintenance of gardens, composting etc.). These activities will give you a more detailed view on the estate and the activities of the BDF and will offer a lot of knowledge and experience for the experiencer. The rest of the day is freetime to explore, enjoy or do whatever you like.

Day 3
Hike to waterfall & evaluation

The third day there will be a hike organised by foot which takes you through lush forests walks and ends at an amazing waterfall. Arrived at the waterfall you can take a refreshing dip under it or just enjoy the wild green scenery. After this moment of pure relaxation we will have lunch, if available, at the finca nearby the waterfall in order to have a local rural lunch. Our journey continues after lunch, returning to the finca of BDF. There we will have a short evalutation after which you will return to Cali or continue your stay (experience) with us.
