Mycenae: See ancient Greek remains and the tomb of Agamemnon in Mycenae
Nafplio: Nafplio’s architecture reflects centuries of Venetian, Ottoman, and Greek influence. It played a central role in the Greek War of Independence and became the seat of government under Ioannis Kapodistrias.

After an early morning pick up from your hotel in Athens, we depart via the coastal national highway for the Corinth Canal (short stop).
Drive to Mycenae and visit the archaeological site, home to the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon. Visit the Palace, the Lionesses Gate and the tomb of Agamemnon. Before we make a stop for lunch (not included), we may optionally visit a pottery factory.
After lunch, driving through Argos, we proceed to Nauplia, the first capital of modern Greece, with its Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the fortified islet of Bourtzi (short stop). You will be dropped off in the centre of Nafplio where you can enjoy some free time before making your way to the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy your day in Nafplio, which sits between the sea and rolling hills, with neoclassical mansions, narrow cobblestone streets, and colorful bougainvillea climbing over balconies. The town has a relaxed, elegant atmosphere – lively but not overwhelming – making it popular for weekend getaways. Nafplio combines history, scenic beauty, and charm in a compact, walkable setting. It feels intimate and picturesque, often described as one of the most charming towns in Greece. At the designated time, please go to the pick-up point and hop on the bus for your return journey to Athens.
