Amman Hotel → City Tour → Ajloun Castle → Jerash Ruins → Amman Overnight.

Jerash Ruins
After breakfast, depart Amman and drive north to Ajloun to explore its impressive 12th-century Islamic castle, built in 1184/85 under the command of the legendary Salah al-Din. Continue onward to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the Middle East. Walk along its colonnaded streets, discover soaring hilltop temples, grand theatres, and spacious plazas that bring history vividly to life. Returning to Amman, visit the historic Citadel with the remains of the Umayyad Palace, the Temple of Hercules, and the excellent Archaeological Museum. In the city center, admire the 2nd-century Roman Theatre and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the traditional souks. Later, stroll through Jabal Amman, a charming district of 19th-century houses, including the birthplace of the late King Hussein. Conclude the day with a transfer to your Amman hotel for overnight.
