Kritsa picturesque village is among the oldest on Crete, built on the feet of Mt. Kastellos semicircularly built, with a marvelous view to vast olive groves and the Mirabello bay. Here old customs and traditions are kept alive, still renowned as weaving art center.

6. Kera church The rich Byzantine iconography and different styles make the church of Panagia Kera in Kritsa the most important monument in the region. 13th-14th BC cent.
