They are on the western edge of the Nile Valley, about eight kilometers southwest of the city of Giza (Giza).     It might not be the pyramids, but it is an absolute must to get a real feel for the history of Cairo as a city and to honestly see stunning medieval Islamic architecture and art. And not in a stuffy, museum-like setting behind the glass - it's a free pedestrian street with the architecture around you so you don't have to worry about paying money to stare at super curated things that you a) don't understand really and b) are kind of boring. One thing we can promise about Moez Street - it's not boring, that's for sure.
