Head down to the Ancient Agora, once the community center of ancient Athenian life, and the location of lectures by the famous philosophers Socrates and Plato. Visit the Hephaestus Temple (the best preserved Greek Temple from the 5th century BC), the Church of the 12 Apostles, the Temple of Apollo Patroos, the Stoa of Zeus and the Altar of Zeus.
