Peleș Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I.

- IMPORTANT! 1) If you want to visit Peles Castle please buy tickets in advance only for the time slot (10:00-11:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-11:00) because there is a maximum capacity of 500 tickets per time slot. 2) If you have your trip on Friday, Saturday or Sunday please check the availability of the time slot in advance. 3) If you made the booking but the tickets are already sold out you can buy tickets to Pelisor castle, which is also worth to be visited. The time slot that you have to choose here is (10:00-12:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-12:00) 5) PLEASE DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR OTHER TIME SLOTS THAN THE ONE MENTIONED ABOVE Tickets are available on the castle's official website starting from the 15th of the previous month for the following month.
