Located nearby, this 150-million-year-old cave is a masterpiece of nature filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. It is famous for its massive central chamber, known as the "Chamber of Exaltation," which has such incredible acoustics that it has occasionally hosted opera performances and concerts.

2Melissani Cave
Often called the "Cave of the Nymphs," this is a stunning subterranean lake where the roof collapsed centuries ago. When the sun is directly overhead, the light hits the turquoise water, creating a magical electric-blue glow. You explore it via a small rowing boat, guided by locals who share the cave's history and myths.

The most famous "organized" beach near the capital, Argostoli. It features a wide stretch of shimmering golden sand and crystal-clear, shallow waters, making it perfect for families.
