Join us for an intimate and immersive experience on a private farm tour and cooking class. Nestled in a stunning location surrounded by the natural beauty of the Greek countryside.
Your journey begins with a guided walk around the farm, where you'll explore the lush landscape and learn about the rich biodiversity that thrives here. As you stroll through the fields, you'll have the opportunity to pick fresh greens, aromatic herbs, and seasonal vegetables straight from our garden. You'll also visit the chicken coop to collect farm-fresh eggs!
After gathering your ingredients, you'll join us next to our traditional wood-fired oven, ready for the culinary adventure ahead. Under the guidance of our expert hosts, you’ll cook a selection of traditional recipes from Greece and the Pelion region, using the fresh produce you've just harvested.
At the end of the class, you'll sit down to enjoy the delicious meal you've prepared, surrounded by the serene beauty of the farm.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Once you disembark from your cruise ship at the Port of Volos, you will see the cruise line buses will be parked directly in front of the ship. Our Avalon Travel vehicles and staff will be located to the right side as you exit the ship. Please look to your right and walk a short distance in that direction. Our team will be waiting there, holding Avalon Travel signs so you can easily identify them.

Karaiskos Farm offers an authentic Greek culinary experience in the heart of the Pelion countryside. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in a hands-on cooking class led by local chefs, where they’ll learn the secrets of traditional Pelion recipes, using fresh, organic ingredients sourced from the farm. Under the guidance of passionate instructors, you’ll prepare a variety of local dishes. This experience promises a true taste of Pelion’s culinary heritage, blending flavors, stories, and warm Greek hospitality.
