Meeting and pickup
When you disembark the ship, you will have a short distance to walk along the pier and out of the gated/restricted area. A member of our team will be waiting for you at the main gate of the port and under the big blue sign “KATAKOLON PORT”. Please look for the Avalon Travel sign.

Olympia was the birthplace of the most famous and important sporting event in the ancient world. The Olympic Games took place here every four years from 776 BC to 393 AD. The site was also a place of worship dedicated to the Greek god Zeus from about the 10th century BC. Here you will find incredible sculptures such as the decoration of the temple of Zeus, as well as the famous Hermes of Praxiteles and the statue of Nike of Paionios.

Kourouta Beach is a beautiful coastal destination located in the western part of Greece, specifically in the region of Peloponnese. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists, known for its golden sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and relaxed atmosphere.

- Please note that during the peak season (especially in July and August), sunbeds and umbrellas at Kourouta Beach are in extremely high demand. Although we reserve these in advance with the local beach facility, availability upon arrival cannot be fully guaranteed, as it depends on external factors beyond our control. In the rare event that pre-reserved sunbeds are not available, Avalon Travel will provide extra beach umbrellas to ensure you can still enjoy your time at the beach comfortably
