Your journey begins in Pinakates, a quiet mountain village known for its unspoiled character and traditional stone architecture.
Continue to the nearby village of Vizitsa, renowned for its elegant archontika (traditional mansions) and harmonious architectural style. During your visit, enjoy a tasting of local honey and traditional Pelion products, offering an authentic introduction to the region’s culinary heritage.
The tour continues to Milies, one of Pelion’s most historic villages, surrounded by chestnut and olive trees. You may visit the charming station of the historic Pelion Steam Train, or relax at a local café or taverna in the shaded main square.
After a scenic drive, the experience concludes in Kala Nera, a seaside village on the shores of the Pagasetic Gulf.
Once you disembark from your cruise ship at the Port of Volos, you will see the cruise line buses will be parked directly in front of the ship. Our Avalon Travel vehicles and staff will be located to the right side as you exit the ship.
Please look to your right and walk a short distance in that direction. Our team will be waiting there, holding Avalon Travel signs so you can easily identify them.
