CityQuest is a way to become a party of a real-life detective in the middle of Göteborg. If you are planning on how to spend your spare time in Göteborg and discover the hidden gems of the city, this might be a great option for you!

CityQuest is a new type of entertainment in town that can be described as a mix of escape rooms, treasure hunts, and geocaching.

The game is available 24/7. You will receive a booking confirmation with all the instructions for starting and the link to the game. Each player should have a fully charged mobile phone and a set of compatible headphones. We recommend taking a power bank in case your phone has short battery life.

What to expect

In a race against time, you and your team must unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of Dr. Victor Stein - the brilliant scientist whose creation threatens to reshape the very fabric of reality. Guided only by the cryptic messages left behind, you and his assistant, Dr. Camille, will navigate a labyrinth of clues and challenges, each one bringing you closer to the truth. But the forces arrayed against you are powerful, and the being known as Phoenix is only growing stronger. Can you outwit the shadowy corporation that seeks to harness its power? Or will you be consumed by the flames of the mad scientist's digital legacy?

At the beginning of the game you will get a set of evidence that will help you to navigate the city, find the clues, and solve the final mystery.

You will also have access to a web application with the journal of this case.

The goal of the game is to answer as many questions as possible before the time runs out.

You will start your investigation at Bältesspännarparken and finish it next to Gustaf Adolfs Torg.

After the game is over you will be given a summary of what has happened to compare with your answers.
